CHEMICAL PEEL TREATMENTS IN ESSEX
REVEAL BRIGHTER, SMOOTHER AND CLEARER SKIN
Chemical peels are a professional treatment designed to gently resurface the skin, removing dead skin cells and stimulating renewal. At The Nurse-Led Clinic in Stambridge, Rochford District, we use trusted MediMD formulations that are tailored to your skin type and concerns.
Whether you want to improve texture, reduce blemishes or simply refresh your complexion, chemical peels can help restore a smoother, more even and radiant look.

WHAT IS A CHEMICAL PEEL?
A chemical peel is a controlled exfoliation treatment where a specialist solution is applied to the skin to remove the outermost layer of dead cells. This process reveals newer, healthier skin beneath and supports long-term regeneration.
At The Nurse-Led Clinic, every peel is carefully selected to suit your skin needs, ensuring the right level of intensity for safe and effective results.

BEFORE & AFTER

WHAT TO EXPECT
-
I will cleanse and prepare your skin before treatment
-
A MediMD peel solution is applied and left on for a set time
-
You may feel a tingling or warming sensation while it works
-
The treatment usually takes 30 to 40 minutes
-
Mild redness or flaking may occur for a few days afterwards
-
The best outcomes are achieved with 3 sessions, scheduled 2–4 weeks apart.
You will notice brighter, fresher-looking skin within a week. For deeper concerns, I may recommend a course of treatments.
AFTERCARE
-
Avoid makeup, exercise and heat treatments for 24 hours
-
Do not pick or peel flaking skin
-
Use gentle, hydrating products as advised
-
Apply a high SPF daily, as skin will be more sensitive to the sun
Following these steps will support healing and maximise your results.
